Eva Millet
” My name is Eva. I am currently studying Year 2 of Bachelor’s degree at KEDGE Business School.
As part of my studies, I have to partake in an internship between 4 to 6 months. I choose to do my internship in Dublin because it was the ideal city to improve my English and live in a friendly city, where you feel good with people who are hospitable.
I wanted do my internship in hospitality sector because I’m interested in tourism and hospitality. I love travelling and discovering new horizons, new cultures. That’s why I was looking for a company in this sector. I did a lot of research and I found O’Callaghan Collection
I joined the meeting and event team and started my internship on February 11th 2019. I was in charge of booking small meetings and I take care of updating all events in the company’s online calendars. I learn a lot about the organization and customer contact and it allows me to improve my English.
This internship is very interesting because is an excellent example of what I am learning in my studies. One of the most important things I learnt in business school is the good functioning of a company – is to have good human relations in order to create a good synergy within the group. The work of the Human Resources Department is really effective at O’Callaghan Collection because it is really a good place to work.
Indeed, the company values and takes into account the well-being of the employees by creating a group cohesion by proposing different internal events, ensuring that everyone feels good professionally and personally. It’s really important today because it’s the key to success and I see it in this internship. ”
