Convention Centre

Dublin

The Convention Centre hosts many of Dublin’s premier tech events and conferences and has won numerous awards since its opening in 2010. The building itself is quite stunning in terms of design and architecture, with its circular glass facade which is lit up at night, and spectacular views of Dublin city and its environs. 

The Facilities

The centre can host up to 1,097 in its main auditorium, as well as a selection of meeting rooms with varying dimensions and capacities. The centre is especially popular for bigger conferences, due to its large size.

Food and Drink

The centre can cater for a variety of menu choices depending on your requirements. On-site catering includes fine dining, standalone banquets and conference catering for up to 5,000 patrons.

Getting To The Convention Centre

The Convention Centre is easily accessible on foot, by Luas or by car as it’s located centrally in Dublin’s docklands, the business quarter of the city. 

Here are your travel options from most areas of the city:

On Foot

The Convention Centre is a 20-minute walk on foot from the city centre.  From D’Olier Street, cross over O’Connell bridge and take a right onto Eden Quay. Head straight for about 300m and continue onto Custom House Quay for 1km. The Convention Centre will be on your left.

By Luas

Take the red line towards The Point, and hop off at either Mayor Square – NCI or Spencer Dock. These are the nearest Luas stops, just a couple of minutes walk from the entrance.

By Car 

If you are travelling by car, the Convention Centre is easy to find as it’s along the main North Wall Quay, on the R801 route, which is just a few short minutes from the M50 motorway and Dublin’s Port Tunnel. Parking is also available on site.

The Convention Centre has its own car park operated by Euro Car Parks with 320 spaces available to its patrons.
